Conan, Tem (a Cimmerian Assassin) and his wife Amardin, wizard Xotai.
Conan serves as guardian to the mysterious caravan of the wizard Xotai atop the Kezankian mountains. He fights with Tem, an assassin and childhood friend. They are employed to lead the caravan safely to a deserted city in the zamorian desert. The wizard is returning to his birthplace to renew his magical powers. A group of wizards try to stop him. Tems wife Amardin comes between the two warrior friends, slowly driving Tem to madness.
